She grew up in Merrick. As a child, she studied piano from Morton Estrin. Deborah was five years old at the time. The peculiarity of the composition is that the girl wrote it herself. Moreover, in the fifth grade, Debbie managed to write an opera. This musical work was called Alice in Operaland. This breakthrough was all the more significant because she did it with the song she wrote herself, Only in My Dreams. The newly-emerged pop princess became the youngest one to create and perform a hit, Foolish Beat. For this, she was put in the Guinness World Records. She is still the youngest woman to hold this record and has sold over 16 million albums all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having conquered the pop world, the girl decided her pop mission was accomplished. She started to work in the theater, namely in musicals. She left her deep mark in the production of Les Mis\u00e9rables, playing the role of Eponine. Thanks to her, box office records were broken in the production of Grease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She appeared on tours across the United States in such productions as Grease and Funny Girl. She also impressed critics with her performances as Belle in Disney&#8217;s Beauty and the Beast and Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy. The famous roles include Cinderella, Velma Kelly in Chicago and Sally Bowles in Cabaret.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2016, she wrote, acted as an executive producer and starred in the <a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynski.info\/uk\/eternal-1592-stiv-bushemi-bruklinska-zirka-kino-yaka-otrymala-try-nozhovi-poranennya-pid-chas-bijky-v-bari\">film<\/a> Summer of Dreams. The film featured her new song, Wonderland, and a novel acoustic version of Only in My Dreams. It was rated high and watched by 2.5 million viewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was also the best program in terms of TV and streaming ratings that summer. The movie was the most socially original film premiere of the week on both broadcast and cable, garnering more unique views and more engagements on social media platforms combined than any other original film premiere. Debbie joined Ciara and host Nick Lachey as a judge on the original show America\u2019s Most Musical Family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her theater career was as bright as her glamorous pop career. Nowadays, she turned to teaching and mentoring. In 2008, she founded Deborah Gibson\u2019s Electric Youth, an arts education camp. Then, she created the Gibson Girl Foundation for underprivileged young people who want to study art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite her age, she still looks quite young.
